What’s wrong with Google Locale or How about Fixing It Soon!

I really hate writing off the topic but after all - that’s what blogs for.. So we all know how Google changes its locale depending on the location you come from. In some cases you can specify your own language (like google in Chinese) and this will even be shared across different Google features. Well, THERE IS A PROBLEM! Let’s take a look at my case:

* primary setting on a client & google: english (i.e. google search, news, … in english)
* location: China (potential problem)
* adsense content: Chinese (another potential)

So here is the problem - first there is adsense. My adsense audience is Chinese, however I’m not and neighter should I necessarily be. Yet, when I turn on Adsense for Chinese, parts of my Adsense interface suddenly become in Chinese without a word of english. As interesting as it is for the first 5 seconds, how about fixing it? - Conclusion: “Adsense Content Targetting  = Problem”

Second, I happened to have a few anonymous blogs on blogger. I of course use them without any problem, in my native english. However, recently I visit blogger and decide to register a new account. I specify my gmail account and what happens next is: blogger turns into a full-fledged Chinese version without a way back. I then played with it for awhile trying to find some workaround - even using a different gmail account. With no avail! Every registration is followed with Chinese interface without a lighest hint for a switch to english. - Conclusion: “Geographical Locale”

So where is the FIX? If you have a blog, please yell loud to make this message heard. I need my Adsense…
